We have been having fun trying out new things and learning what people like at the shop. We already make great coffee, but because we are a new business we enjoy listening to what our customers are telling us. Ways to improve certain things, or suggestions for the menu, etc..
We have an incredible amount of requests for avocados, and because they are in season we have had the opportunity to experiment. And what better than a smoothie with all the major food groups? We made a first one with spinach, avo, honey and soy milk, but something was missing... and then a nice lady came in with her child and we asked her to sample. Her immediate answer was, “needs banana and cinnamon. “. No hesitation. Just like that- bam. And so we did what she suggested and now we are off to the races!

This one looks really delicious. I love avocados. My mom used to make avocado smoothie for us and we definitely love it. She is so glad that we like fruit shakes because they are not only delicious, but they are healthy, too. Anyway, I love the suggestion of the lady to add banana and cinnamon to the smoothie. When I make one, I usually add frozen banana. I will definitely try adding cinnamon next time.
